We'll convert everyday objects into cameras, focusing on the "aperture" and light-tight integrity. After a brief dive into the history of the camera obscura, we'll head out to capture our first exposures in downtown Providence or take your pinhole camera home. Step into the red light to bring your images to life. We will cover the chemical process of developing paper negatives and then use those negatives to create positive contact prints, leaving you with a tangible, one-of-a-kind record.
