This is a four-part workshop that meets on August 2nd, August 9th, August 16th, and August 23rd. This hands-on darkroom printing course invites photographers to explore black-and-white printing from their own film negatives. All formats are welcome, including 35mm, 120, and 4×5. Students will learn core darkroom techniques such as enlarging, contrast control, dodging and burning, and archival processing. Emphasis is placed on experimentation, craftsmanship, and developing a personal printing style. This workshop does not cover photography or film development.
