A low-fi reimagining of Lovecraft’s short tale of frogs, sea-green idols, and DOOM, told with hand-cut silhouette puppets and an eerie theremin soundtrack, staged by Tonnvane Wiswell, founder and artistic director of the London Lovecraft Festival. Expect velocipedes and steam engines. “Mesmerising and enchanting” (Anne Fortune, Starburst Magazine). 20 minutes runtime, suitable for all ages. Trigger warning: madness, amphibians, DOOM.

A dramatic reading by Robert Lloyd Parry of Arthur Machen’s great late work in which a stretch of primal paradise keeps showing up in a remote London suburb. The story is accompanied live by Chris Bozzone’s specially composed soundtrack.
