Get your hands on the way folds work in the traditional Japanese art of paper folding - origami, which interestingly rests at the intersection of technique, skill, design, meaning and aesthetics. Where are we a thousand years later - what does modern origami look like? Can origami be sculptural? We'll develop individual folding patterns based on grids and corrugations, and then move to designing and executing a temporary paper installation where we dwell on design and the act of creating together.
