A small work-only (non-living) studio in the Dreyfus will become available beginning on August 1, 2018. It is 180 square feet and rents for $225 per month. As a tenant of AS220, you are also responsible for contributing 5 hours of volunteer service to AS220 each month. There is a common bathroom and slop sink shared with AS220 admin offices and 3 other work studios. The space is not soundproofed and shares ceilings and a wall with some live spaces and offices, so loud music or practices are not encouraged in this space.

The live/work studio program at AS220 encourages a community of ideas rather than simply a community of tenants. While most of our tenants are working artists, if your involvement in the arts is not directly through creation but supports creative community in some other way, you can still become a resident at AS220. Our goal is to create a cooperative living and working environment driven by the creative energy of its inhabitants.
