Summer magic starts early this June with Saturday’s  Gallery Openings at AS220. Five great new shows of paintings, installations, and performing arts! New installation in Psychic Annex, (95 Empire, fl2) features amazing work by young and talented Kourtnie Aileru, an AS220 Youth alumni and recent Hampshire college grad. The As220 Main Gallery features new paintings by Claudine Metrick & Robyn Thomas.   Claudine and Robyn relentlessly pursue painting with passion creating bodies of work that though very different engage the viewer fully.The Project Space has been transformed by the meticulous and detailed oriented Aaron L. Peterman, seeing is believing. And Reba Mitchell/ House Red will be conducting sonic experiments throughout the month in the Reading Room which effectively transforms the whole of 93 Mathewson St. into a small shrine of the fabulous, right?  and wait there is more! In the Residence Gallery This month new work/installation by Amanda Cumbee DeJonge! Some art always happening!
