Staff promotions + new roles!

We’re excited to announce that two current staff members at AS220 Youth have been promoted to new positions!

Anthony “AM.” Andrade (left) has recently expanded into his role as the new Media Arts Coordinator at AS220 Youth. Bringing his expertise in Photography, Film, 2-D Design, Social-Emotional Learning, and Youth Culture, he has been leading classes at AS220 over the last two years at our Downtown Studio, Nowell Leadership Academy and The Rhode Island Training School.

AM.’s work as an artist is informed by his passion for racial justice, spiritual growth through self-expression and breathing/meditation practices. He’s released five self-produced and -engineered albums and is also a founding member of The Haus of Glitter Dance Company. Finding healing and liberation in sharing life-long personal studies of Anti-Oppression Philosophy and Holistic Care, AM. enjoys meditation, camping, making costumes, and vegan cooking.

Olivia Watson (right) expands her role as AS220 Youth Membership Manager. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Olivia has called Providence home since 2012. She holds a degree in Visual Art and Modern Culture & Media from Brown University and is a multimedia visual artist. She is excited to take on this management role where she can continue drawing on her experience as an artist, as well as background in after-school and museum education in her work with Youth members and the community.
