AS220 and the Puerto Rican Institute for Arts and Advocacy (PRIAA) present FLORA Y FALDA: a live installation of video and dance, a celebration of AfroCaribbean dance and music!
Dancer/Educator Lydia Pérez and multi-genre artist Shey Rivera share a special collaboration: a live installation of AfroCaribbean dance and video. Followed by a musical walkthrough of the roots of AfroCaribbean rhythms led by Lydia Pérez, and a musical performance by the internationally renowned musical ensemble YORUBA 2.

Lydia Pérez, bailadora profesional y educadora, y Shey Rivera, artista multi-géneros, presentan una colaboración artística muy especial —a través del baile, la música, y proyecciones de video. Con tambores y baile, Lydia guiara al público a conocer las raíces de la bomba y la plena. La noche culmina con un bombazo cortesía del grupo YORUBA 2. En celebración de la noche de San Juan ¡No se lo pierdan!
