“In this show there will be examples of four different periods of my work. In the New American Family series, I explored the reality that American couples, instead of always marrying “their own kind”, now marry whomever they want, leaving the tradition behind, and often creating multi-ethnic families, like mine. The Kosovo series examined the destructiveness of war, leaving only ruins in the place of buildings. The Grand Center series used the building of old St. Louis as inspiration, and the Horsehead series was based on one of Jamestown’s most beautiful seaside houses… I am a printer, and I produce large-scale art on paper, that makes use of all traditional ways and forms of creating a single work. I use collagraph, digital photography, painting and drawing, thus crossing conventional lines of thinking about process. “Both my multi-ethnic family and my multi-disciplinary art are hybrid creations.”” – Words curtesy of the Artist
