Erik Carlson, Erica Carpenter + Erik Gould

An evening of image, text and sound, unfolding over the course of the evening, starting at dusk.

Erica Carpenter and Erik Carlson will be experimenting with the overlap of text, image and sound in several ongoing pieces that they are creating for a permanent installation at the Chapel Hill, NC Public Library, using content from the library’s collections. These pieces examine the way we bind, unbind and combine information, taking Shelley’s “Prometheus Unbound” as a cue.

Erik Gould and Erik Carlson will be presenting a version of their on-going collaboration in live video and sound, this time exploring our changing relationships with nature.
