November’s Media Arts Lecture Series: Thomas Bell & Christina DeRoos

The Highs and Lows of Technology in Performance Art.

Contemporary media artists Thomas Bell and Christina deRoos will discuss their approach to creating interactive multimedia performance work that incorporates an array of technology, often repurposed to serve creative ends. Thomas and Christina will share perspectives from their independent work, and their collaboration as Remote Control Tomato, a performance initiative of Spread Art (http://spreadart.org).
