FREE MONDAYS COMING TO AS220

Starting on February 27th, the Main Stage and The Bar at AS220 will begin opening on Monday nights for “Free Mondays”, presented by AS220 Community Curator Jacob Wolf of Wolfstuff Presents. “Free Mondays” is a weekly event that features a wide variety of exciting touring acts and local artists. With no entry fee for the show, it’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone in the community to come together and enjoy great live music, regardless of budget.

Tall Tall Trees w/ Z-Boys & Nova
Brooklyn’s Mike Savino returns with his dynamic banjo-driven project Tall Tall Trees, along with the virtuosic local rippers Z-Boys and Roz (Rice Cakes) Raskin’s new solo project Nova.

March 6th
Jacob Metcalf + The Horse-Eyed Men + Ian Fitzgerald
Austin, Texas’ Jacob Metcalf debuts his enchanting orchestral folk, joined by the captivating, funny, charming Horse-Eyed Men, and always enchanting Ian Fitzgerald.

Glenn Jones w/ Laura Baird & LaRochelle
Master guitarist and John Fahey protegé Glenn Jones returns to Providence with fellow finger-picker Laura Baird (of The Baird Sisters), and bassist Rachel Rosenkrantz as LaRochelle.

Songwriter Buck Curran, of psych-folk duo Arborea, is on tour in support of his new album Immortal Light, and will be joined by local luminaries Allysen Callery and Alec K. Redfearn.

Berlin-based songwriter Chad Matheny (aka Emperor X) has been writing and touring his inscrutable odes to futurism, technology, and politics for nearly 20 years, and this time brings along Boston’s Animal Flag as tourmates and backing band.
