The Unstoppable Death Machines get their name from the raging masterpiece of stacked speakers and homemade face microphone that they use to explode their punk-rock sound. The performance-based duo is based out of Brooklyn, NY and come to us in the midst of a cross-country tour. Past performances have included immersive experimental environments complete with murals, sculptures, and interactive light, video and sound installations. These performances examine the connection between the visual and the musical and give birth to a “technicolor digital acid trip…what robots see when they drop acid.” (VICE) Unstoppable Death Machines has produced these ultra-stimulating, multi-sensory experiences at South by Southwest, on VICE, MTV and innumerable DIY venues across America and will do so at AS220 on April 27th at 9:00pm.
