METRIC ELECTRIC

Metric Electric is an original rock group with strong funk, pop, and blues influences. The members of the quartet are Rhode Island natives who are veterans of the Southern New England music scene. Throughout different bands, they’ve individually played everywhere from bars in Cambridge and Boston to PVDFest and The Strand and are looking to break into the local scene as Metric Electric. They have a strong catalog of original music and if you survive both guitarists’ solos, you’ll come away with a memorable live music experience.

AUSTIN BULLOCK

Austin Bullock released his debut solo album Step 1 Explode on November 26, 2018 to share his rebellious yet optimistic perspective through his notably evocative guitar leads and thumping bass lines. The multi-instrumentalist and songwriter’s sound is an uncommon departure from psychedelic funk rock and dreamy indie rock that creates an emotionally dynamic atmosphere you can get lost in. In early 2018, Austin started focusing solely on writing, performing, and recording the 13 song album to establish his presence in the East Coast rock scene.

Austin started his music career studying Jazz guitar and performing around Newport, Rhode Island before moving to Boston to play lead guitar in garage rock band Binge Magick. Binge Magick quickly gathered a following in Boston and Austinprogressed into producing Step 1 Explode in Providence, Rhode Island. Inspired by renegade guitar players and songwriters like John Frusciante, Jack White, Kurt Cobain, and Mac Demarco, Austin built on his road-tested and eclectic musical experience to create a style of his own.
