Once Upon a Time: the favorite book plays! is the culminating production of The Manton Avenue Project’s Play-It-Again program, an afterschool playwriting course for fourth- and fifth-graders. Ten young playwrights have each written a play inspired by their favorite books and literary characters. Join us as we explore the books that have had the greatest impact on our students’ lives. The Manton Avenue Project seeks to nurture the unique potential of Olneyville’s young people by unleashing their creative voices and uniting them with adult artists to create original theatre.
