Sharlene DeNardo is best known as founding member, songwriter and bass player for the band Sex Coffee. She’s also the bass player for The Dust Ruffles. Sharlene will be debuting some of her new songs and accompanying herself on acoustic Guitar.
Malyssa BellaRosa is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Providence, RI who writes heartfelt, original songs. Blending many different styles – it is hard to pinpoint which “genre” suits her best, but one thing is consistent – the passion in which she writes and performs music. Her powerful, soulful and dynamic vocals have led to several nominations in local magazines as best female vocalist. She has sung opera, rock n roll, blues, funk, folk, jazz – anything with a sweet melody that is worth crooning.
A front man without his band leaves much to chance. Josh Grabert is the exception, with a solo set that rivals the soulfull sound of his band, Torn Shorts. With bluesy guitar, honest lyrics, and foot stomping rhythm, Grabert’s performance is a reminder of why we go see live music.
Providence, RI singer/songwriter Steve Volkmann writes and performs original songs inspired by everyday people and their stories. Steve played in original rock n’ roll bands in the Providence and Boston areas throughout the 80’s and 90’s. After living in New York City for ten years, Steve has relocated to Providence’s thriving original music scene.
