|Local performer Meg Sullivan is joining forces with Austin-based movement artist Heloise Gold for a one-night-only performance of original work, devised independently and performed simultaneously.Gold’s work is an exquisite mélange of gleeful humor, captivating images and finely etched movement detail, all eliciting a meditative dream state if you can stop laughing enough.

Meg is the executive artistic director of The Manton Avenue Project. As a performance, Megcreates and performs multi-media works that explore issues of place, memory, history, and social justice. Her most recent project, Veja Doolitte: Live in Concert, has been presented by The Wilbury Group and FringePVD, and has been called “a winning combination of music, media and performance art” (Edge Providence).
Meg and Heloise performed together for several years in Austin with Julie Nathanielsz’ The Meeting Point, which was recognized by the Austin Critics Circle for Best Short Dance work in the 2011 Fusebox Festival.
