Rat Ruckus has been creating music since 2012. Their largely original catalog of music dances between many genres. They are known for their high-intensity performances that present many different emotions throughout the course of a night. Rat Ruckus is not a jam band, however, improvisation is a key element to their music. The audience may not always know where the music’s headed but they’re always prepared to scamper with the band. In the end, we all have some rat in us.
Liam Dailey – music is a singer-songwriter from Boston who plays contemporary music inspired by the traditions of Appalachia and Ireland.
Hailing from just outside of Providence, Rhode Island, Morgan Johnston Music is a folk singer-songwriter stomping, strumming, speaking, and singing her way to empowering both herself and her listeners. Her guitar and vocal arrangements are inspired by the natural landscape of places, such as Ireland, as much as by the emotional landscape of human experience. Currently studying to become a music therapist, she is constantly reminded of the healing power of the music that she aims to share.
Viking Jesus – Kris Hansen writes, performs epic, short attention span songs that move with purpose and poetry. Structure being the last frontier of songwriting, he takes his music into different directions you don’t expect. Trying not to rely on hooks but rather tell stories like a vignette. The music being the catalyst and his words the impression. Influenced by 60′ Psychedelic and Folk, 70’s Rock, Soul and a bit of 90’s Grunge but nothing really like that.
His band received Best Rock Band in 2014. He received Best Americana Singer/Songwriter in 2015, Best Male Vocal in 2016 by the Motif Magazine readers poll. BUT HE IS NOT THAT GOOD, REALLY.
