Composer, performer and improviser Philip White works with electronics at the intersection of noise, jazz and contemporary concert music. Current projects include R WE WHO R WE (with Ted Hearne), Colonic Youth (with James Ilgenfritz, Kevin Shea and Dan Blake) and duos with Chris Pitsiokos, Bob Bellerue and Taylor Levine. His music has been released on New Focus Recordings, Infrequent Seams and Tape Drift Records. It has been described as “utterly gripping” (Time Out Chicago), “bona fide evocative music” (Brooklyn Rail), and a “vibrant textural tapestry” (Wall Street Journal).

Chris Pitsiokos is a saxophonist, composer, and improviser. His music combines the intensity and immediacy of no wave and noise with the lyricism and forward propulsion of jazz and the abstract detail of contemporary classical composers Iannis Xenakis, Briany Ferneyhough, and Helmut Lachenmann. Recent/current collaborators include Lydia Lunch, Tyshawn Sorey, Peter Evans, Kevin Shea, Brian Chase, Elliott Sharp, Mick Barr, Marc Edwards, Philip White, and Weasel Walter. Chris has performed throughout Europe, Japan, Australia, and the US. In addition to performing and composing music, Chris runs his own record label, Eleatic records, curates the Gadfly Series at New York venue Spectrum, and programs a radio show at WKCR-FM.

Mark Cetilia is a sound / media artist positioned at the nexus of analogue and digital technologies. Exploring the possibilities of generative systems in art, design, and sound creation, Cetilia’s practice is an exercise in carefully controlled chaos. For over a decade, he has worked to develop idiomatic performance systems utilizing custom hardware and software, manifesting in a rich tapestry of sound and image. Mark is a member of the electroacoustic ensemble Mem1 (with Laura Cetilia), the unpredictable cybernetic entity Titans of Jazz (with Luke Moldof), and the experimental media art group Redux (with Joe Cantrell). Cetilia’s work has been screened / installed at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London, UK), the Ben-Ari Museum of Contemporary Art (Bat Yam, IL), R.K. Projects (Providence, RI), the Atlantic Center for the Arts (New Smyrna Beach, FL), and SoundWalk (Long Beach, CA). He has performed widely throughout the U.S. and abroad at venues including Café OTO (London, UK), the Borealis Festival (Bergen, NO), STEIM (Amsterdam, NL), the REDCAT Theater at Disney Hall (Los Angeles), Issue Project Room (Brooklyn, NY), Menza Pri Koritu (Ljubljana, SI), Uganda (Jerusalem, IL), the San Francisco Electronic Music Festival, and Electronic Church (Berlin, DE). His sound works have been published by Interval Recordings, Dragon’s Eye, Radical Matters, Iynges, Anarchymoon, Quiet Design, and the Estuary Ltd. imprint, which he runs together with his partner Laura.Luke Moldof is an electronic musician based out of Providence, Rhode Island. He received a BM from the New England Conservatory of Music. His current work utilizes flexible real-time modular electronic systems that split the difference between composition and improvisation through complex feedback loops and varying degrees of controlled randomness. Often these systems are made to respond to or coincide with the outside influence of reel to reel tape loops, field recordings, and prepared guitar improvisations. Moldof has performed at venues across the United States and has collaborated with artists such as Greg Kelley, Joe Morris, Vic Rawlings, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Howard Stelzer, CF, and Stephen Drury’s Callithumpian Consort. He is a member of the experimental electronic duo, Perispirit alongside Ricardo Donoso, as well as the deceased power electronic duo Craniopagus, with Jesse Ward. He has released recordings on Hospital Productions, Digitalis Industries, Ecstatic Peace, Ekhein, and his own most likely defunct Razors and Medicine imprint, amongst others.
