Origami, the art of paper folding, is beautiful and timeless, thanks to its simplicity. The word is of Japanese origin and is the combination of the verb “oru” – to fold and the noun “gami” – paper. It is a craft and hobby and art form practiced all over the world and is a part of many traditions and is a popular activity to do for a parent and child.

Come and learn how to create paper decorations, containers, animals, and toys with your child. You will fold with your child several projects to take home with you.

6-13 (a parent or adult must accompany the child to help or supervise the projects)

*younger students are welcome but will require additional assistance from the parent/adult

All materials will be provided. Feel free to bring your own paper if you’d like but we will have paper for you to use and take home with you.
