This class will explore technical concepts such as ideal focal lengths, aperture, natural & studio lighting and even what you need to know about model releases. In the studio, the class will work on posing and coaxing facial expressions. The group will also discuss and demonstrate some different portrait strategies for different purposes (ie. a corporate headshot vs. an expressive editorial/artistic portrait). While all wrapped into a one-session class, the studio space will be reserved for class use the following Sunday so that students can drop in do a critique of their portrait work, this is an optional free bonus!
