Malerie Day

Local Newport, RI singer-songwriter has returned to her roots as a solo performer, showing a more delicate yet still powerful side to her vocal style with New Growth, her first solo studio 4-track EP. She has transitioned through a range of genres in previous years including banjo player in folk duo Townman Charged and leading front woman of rock outfit Wild Life. Her writing approach is from the heart, focusing on how to authentically express the depths of her emotional landscape. What emerges is rich in mystery, tenderness, vulnerability and strength.

Haunt the House comes from a quiet place. Based in the woods of Charlestown, Rhode Island, songwriter Will Houlihan first caught the attention of the Rhode Island music scene in 2013 with the release of his solo EP, “Rural Introspection Study Group”. Shortly after this release, Will conceived the idea for his first full-length release – a love triangle between two people, one of whom has a split personality. His idea would grow into the
2014 release, “Jack Rabbit Jones.” After enlisting a band of local musicians and mentored by Allysen Callery (an acclaimed singer/songwriter in her own right), “Jack Rabbit Jones” was recorded at Providence’s historic Columbus Theatre by Ben Knox Miller and Jeffrey Prystowsky of the Low Anthem. Released in May of 2014, “Jack Rabbit Jones” has garnered positive attention for its rich harmonies, powerful lyrics, and dynamic musicianship.

Since playing Newport Folk Festival in 2015, Haunt the House has been sequestered in pseudo-hermitage, while
creating songs for the next release.

Natále

Middle Eastern soul meets New England folk . Inspired by the intentional music of the 60s & 70s, Natále’s songs aim to encourage others to take a deeper look within. In the past year, she has opened for Josiah Johnson (of The Head & the Heart) and 2015 Rolling Stone top 15 artists – Christopher Paul Stelling – under her other project We Are Here (weareheremusic.com / @weareheremusic)
