Make and Break Wednesdays are after work electronics project workshops. We’ll show you how to solder if you never have before (or are rusty), or you might just want to come and build an interesting kit with friends. Each workshop features a different kit; sometimes more than one if we have kits left over from previous workshops.

Make and Break workshops take place in the AS220 Performance Space on Empire street. It’s right next to the bar and restaurant so you can eat and solder (we use lead free solder, by the way). All materials are provided and we usually have enough for 20 people. You can reserve a slot here or just show up but it is first-come-first served with prepaid folks getting preference. The workshop is before the LULZ comedy night, so there’s a hard stop around 8:00pm. Stragglers are welcome to set up in a corner of the bar however, and can return during Lab hours to finish up if needed.
