Heartbreak Hotel
Live Bait is proud to announce a Special May show, in collaboration with The Museum of Heartbreak. We are collecting stories of ended relationships of all kinds and how they manifest in a leftover object in a person’s life. The Museum will then collect the objects for an exhibit. So, if anyone has a true story that in any way, shape or form fits May’s theme, “Heartbreak Hotel,” they absolutely should come to Live Bait and tell it. And bring an object that connects with the story (of course, if a person has a story but no object, they are still more than welcome to come and tell).
Another reason why May’s show is special is that it will be at 8:00pm! So, everyone who hasn’t come because Live Bait is “too late,” now they have no excuse, (unless they are in the hospital or can’t find a babysitter). These early shows fill up fast, so everyone should plan accordingly.
Remember, Live Bait is a forum for true stories: no notes, no rants, no aimless ramblings, no stand-up routines, and there is a six-minute time limit. Of course, all are more than welcome to simply sit back and listen. Live Bait is hosted by Phil Goldman, with banter, musical accompaniment and monthly theme song by Jerry “The Professor” Gregoire.
