Lifeline

Just about everyone has a story about a time they were saved; somebody threw them a lifeline, whether it was real or metaphorical. And if just about everyone has a story about how they were saved, then just about everyone has a story about a time they saved someone else. See the logic? No? Screw it. Just come to Live Bait on February 2nd and tell your true Lifeline story, however you interpret the theme (and listen to others’ interpretations – they won’t disappoint).

February’s theme is Lifeline. If you have a true story that in some way, shape or form fits this theme, come to Live Bait, put your name in the fishbowl and, when called, come up and tell it. Remember, please: no notes, no rants, no aimless ramblings, no stand-up routines, and there is a six-minute time limit. Of course, all are more than welcome to simply sit back and listen.

Live Bait is hosted by Phil Goldman, with banter, musical accompaniment and monthly theme song by Jerry “The Professor” Gregoire.
