Live Bait Eleventh Anniversary Show:
Celebrating July 5th with “Freedom!”
Eleven years of Live Bait. Eleven years of stories. Eleven years of sharing, listening, laughing and crying. Of being surprised, appalled and touched, sometimes all at the same time. Live Bait truly has become a Providence institution. This July we will be celebrating this anniversary and the Day After Independence Day. So, with that in mind, our theme will be “Freedom!”
So bring your true stories of Freedom to Live Bait on Friday, July 5th. Put your name in the fishbowl and, when called, come up and tell it. Remember, please: no notes, no rants, no aimless ramblings, no stand-up routines, and there is a six-minute time limit. Of course, you are more than welcome to simply sit back and listen.
In addition, in accordance with Live Bait tradition, there will be anniversary cake. But bigger and tastier! For everybody! With plates and forks! So… come for the cake, stay for the stories. Or come for the stories and stay for the cake!
Live Bait is hosted by Phil Goldman, with banter, musical accompaniment and monthly theme song by Jerry “The Professor” Gregoire.
