Summer is on it’s way, and so is another “Is This Jazz?” at AS220! This time we will be featuring two groups right out of Providence. First on will be People Of The Way, a group of friends from different musical backgrounds trying to create sincere, improvisational music from the historical perspective of the great African-American art forms of Jazz and Hip Hop. Then headlining the night we have Kamchatka, lead by local composer Dave McNally, a funky jazz-rock group with some experimental/free jazz influences.
