3 classes, 3 hours each, where students who are brand new or are just starting out learning web development basics can get their hands around core concepts to build an interactive and mobile-friendly web page. Throughout the course, we will learn the fundamentals of the web, including how the web works, and dive into HTMLCSS, version control with Git and Github, and JavaScript basics.

Attendees will come away with a fully functioning web site hosted on the internet that is mobile friendly, allows for creativity, as well as displays the participant’s understanding of core web technologies. These new skills can be applied to many existing jobs, creative endeavors, or serve as a launching point for a deeper dive into software development.

Instructor: Danny Kirchner

Danny is a software developer and teacher, “training over 100 students in Providence to be full-stack, job ready developers” Danny has been writing web apps using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript for nearly a decade, working as a software developer and startup founder.
