All classes take place at 95 Empire Street, 3rd Floor Dance Studio.

In this class we will focus on learning and understanding the rudiments of ballet – line and placement, while also learning musical phrasing of the ballet combinations that are given in class. I always strive to give a class that is relaxed and open, yet always with a focus to learn. The class is open to all ages and I am always supportive and encouraging with teaching this beautiful art form. This class is centered towards an advanced/intermediate level. This means to get the full benefit of the class, two to three years of prior ballet experience will be needed.

Stephanie Albanese is a graduate of School of American Ballet and has had an eclectic ballet career. Dancing in an upstate New York company with former New York City Ballet member Wilhelmina Frankfurt, Stephanie performed the lead in a production of Firebird. She has danced in Mary Miller’s contemporary dance company in Pittsburgh. She has also worked as a freelance dancer in New York City, dancing with choreographers such as Marcus Galente and Felice Lesser where she performed and collaborated on multimedia pieces. Stephanie has lived in Paris while performing at the famous Lido dancing the Pas de deaux and also Las Vegas as a cabaret dancer in Julbilee. She currently teaches ballet at Elanie Colaneli’s Modern Jazz Dance Company Center of The Arts and is extremely pleased to start teaching (post-pandemic) ballet classes again at AS220 in Providence.
