95 Empire Street
God Made Me Queer is a dance-play written by r.lewis and brought to life through collaborative movement and dance investigations. It chronicles events and questions experienced a few summers ago in New York City. These questions primarily deal with connection relationship, Queerness, Blackness, and faith. The work began as a short story that was crafted from journal entries, and since February with the help of a wonderful cohort of collaborators, has become a staged performance.
The performance is free and will take place in the dance studio at As220 at 95 Empire in Providence.
There will be a talk back after each performance.
There is limited seating available.
Performances at 6:30 and 8PM
