Gavin Riley Smoke Machine (philly)
Gavin Riley spins a crowd-sourced yarn through beats, rhymes, and animated video by Tumblr pro John Karel. Audience members choose their own collective adventure, sometimes leading to catastrophe, other times to new planes of expanded consciousness.

Toungedancer (philly)
Dreams In Cryogenic Fugue is the new album by MC Tonguedancer and Unisex Starship (Nov. 2015, Out The Window, Philadelphia), a 16-track space rap odyssey released with a 32-page book illustrated by comics artist Chris Johnson. Several years in the making and supported by a 2013 Kickstarter campaign, this story of two hypergalactic travelers unfolds through music and art swirling with psychedelic imagery and kaleidoscopic production. Drawing together inspirations from across time and space, MC Tonguedancer narrates the adventure over music improvised and composed by electronic duo Unisex Starship. In performance, Tonguedancer goes through the journey with video collage and costume changes, building intensity with subtle humor sprinkled like stardust.
