Come Play and Feel Great in this FREE open level movement experience. The Feldenkrais Method® is a somatic (body/mind) practice of movement re-education originally developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais. Feldenkrais can improve posture, flexibility, coordination, chronic pain, stress and tension, athletic and artistic ability.
Awareness Through Movement Lessons are group lessons, often but not always lying on the floor, led purely by voice. The teacher guides students through a series of very small, gentle, repeated movements, structured to increase body/mind learning and sensory awareness. Students discover how habitual movement patterns can constrain one’s potential, and how, through the process, new patterns can emerge into a new lived experience
