Donald, Ted, and Marco is a new play by Dave Rabinow and developed by the Elemental Theatre Collective. It explores what would happen if, say, three candidates for a major political party’s presidential nomination were trapped in a pocket dimension together. The titular characters (played by three of Providence’s finest female actors) wrap, warp, and twist themselves and their visions for America around each other, striving to win, survive, and escape. The theatrical offspring of No Exit and Fox News, Donald, Ted, and Marco (directed by Gamm Theatre resident artist Casey Seymour Kim) allows our prospective leaders to articulate their beliefs in the safety of a world where no one is watching.
