An open forum for artists, activists, and allies to discuss their methods of, strategies for, and thoughts about documenting resistance. For those interested in sharing their documentation work in this public setting—photographs, art objects, videos, texts—please email reya_sehgal@brown.edu by May 1st; submissions will be projected during the event.

“Documenting Resistance” is held in collaboration with Nafis White’s “Photographing the Movement” project at the RISD Museum and the Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice at Brown University, hosts of the “Changing America” exhibition. This event marks the launching of “Changing America Today,” a digital participatory archive of resistance.
