In Digital Music Production 2, offered in the Media Lab at AS220 Industries, participants develop the skills to polish, mix, master, and distribute their own original songs. As a continuation of Digital Music Production, participants are encouraged (but not required) to provide an unfinished Logic Pro X project to work from. Through the process of learning the elements of mixing, mastering and distributing, participants can walk away from the class with radio quality files of their own songs.

This workshop is split into two sessions. The first focuses on the process of mixing and enhancing sound elements within the production software. The second session is focused on mastering and distribution. Participants learn how to bring their music production to a high enough volume and quality standard for distribution on all major music platforms. Acquiring knowledge of labels and distribution, participants will be able to leave this workshop with the ability to release songs on platforms like Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, Google Play, etc.
