BLACK WOOL:
Persistently reaching beyond sonic boundaries, Black Wool reaches through the spectrum of indie rock, free form jazz, avant-garde, and spoken word; bringing together a wide range of shapes and textures through the subtlety of elusive and often un-metered song structures, dynamic vocal delivery and an embrace toward compositional irregularities, with tendencies toward improvisation– Black Wool emanates light and warmth through pure expression, casting shadows and depth; illuminating perceptions of subconscious thought and emotion. Black Wool is the artistic demonstration of Providence, Rhode Island based poet, William Keller.
Born and raised in Rockland County, New York. His life has been characterized by movement, new beginnings and the instability associated with change.
