Running weekly on Saturdays at 2:30 pm from September 19th until October 17th. Outdoor classes are held at the Haus of Glitter Performance Lab + Parq at 97 Admiral Street, Providence, RI.

Come experience the joy of ballet movement in the beautiful outdoors! This ballet-based exercise class is open to all; no prior experience is required (you can follow the instructor the whole time). New dancers will get an intro to ballet technique, while more experienced dancers are also invited to improve their fitness, core strength, and control. The one-hour class will include a warm-up, stretch, floor barre and abs, standing exercises, and a cardio movement section, all to traditional ballet music. Wear your sneakers, bring a towel or mat, and be prepared for a good workout and the fun of ballet!

Instructor Ann Ditmars Huyck teaches ballet at AS220 and Providence College. She holds an MFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and was certified as an instructor of the New York City Ballet Workout.
