AS220’s Estival Festival: a summer-heat-art-fair-extravaganza and music fest fundraiser for AS220’s All Access Campaign to make improvements to Empire Street

This summer, together forever, we shall celebrate the ginormous renovations at AS220’s Empire Street complex. Come participate in the AS220 All Access Campaign fundraising efforts through the power of ALL DAY LONG PARTYING! Over twenty performers will rollick the Main Stage and Black Box. An art fair will convene in Psychic Readings and outside on the street with over twenty vendors who will peddle their miraculous wares. There will be food and drink specials like “watermelon sangria” or an “Oh-boy-oh-boy-oh-boy that’s a good clam margarita” (the latter one’s made up). It’s the summer so let it be known that there will be an outdoor bar and seating and some fun-time summery installations. Bring a bathing suit, because we’re busting out the inflatable pools. Experience “windoughnuts” where residents of Floor 3 send down doughnuts in a basket to the street. Get wet. See friends. Shake hands with strangers. Become a stranger to yourself. Just have some fun, ok?
