Learn the basics of electronics and coding with the Arduino, an open source hardware platform for artists, educators, and designers.
Sunday, August 25th, 11am – 4pm
Arduino is an open source platform designed for artists, educators, and designers to be able to develop affordable prototypes for interactive design. It includes both a stand-alone circuit board with input / output for various components and an IDE (integrated development environment) for programming to provide an easy on-ramp for people learning how to design and program open hardware. If you’re interested in getting started in electronics, this workshop is a great place to start!
In this workshop, students will learn how to program their first Arduino program, learning the basics of the Arduino and it’s capabilities along the way.
