An Introduction to Meisner Workshop with Ted Clement, Part II

All are welcome: attendance at Part I not required.

Sandford Meisner, Master Actor and Teacher, described his technique as being “based on bringing the actor back to his emotional impulses and to acting that is firmly rooted in the instinctive. It is based on the fact that all good acting comes from the heart.”

Ted Clement is Artistic Director of Counter-Productions Theatre Company, a resident company at AS220. He serves as Region 1 Co-Vice Chair for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. He is an Associate Professor in the Performing Arts Department at the Community College of Rhode Island, where he serves as Coordinator of the Theatre Program. He holds and Associate of Arts from CCRI, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Salem State University, and a Master of Fine Arts from the New School for Drama.
