The Quintet will perform original jazz compositions, reflecting the players’ diverse backgrounds.  Their music has been described as powerful, elegant, and raw.

These musicians are all about listening to and accepting each other’s ideas, always striving to enhance their artistic expression. They look forward to exploring this and other contemporary approaches to jazz with their audience.

The band members began working together in Providence or in the University of Rhode Island’s jazz program. Their individual talents have also been appreciated elsewhere, such as New Orleans, New York City, Normandy, France and Kingston, Jamaica.
