The daybreakers is band of four individuals who are fronted by a seasoned veteran musician Kyle Murphy. Holding down the rhythm and high harmonies is John Hanson. The nuts and berries of their sound come from the thundering percussion of Mark Torch and the smooth creamy tone of Matt Schairer’s bass. Their influences range from Eric Clapton, to The Band. With the recent release of their debut album, and a promotions deal with Powderfinger Promotions, these cats have a bright future!

Lo and the Black Swans

Lo and the Black Swans is an edgy rock blues and avant pop band featuring songs from poet and vocalist Lo Galluccio’s CDs and tunes influenced by artists like Tom Waits and Diamanda Galas. Lo has won critical acclaim for both her CDs, the first on the Knitting Factory label, which was hailed by NY DJ Vin Scelsa as “By turns mysterious, seductive, surreal and spacey.” Lo’ss collaborated with many fine artists, including Dave Tronzo (slide guitarist), Roy Nathanson, saxophone and leader of the Jazz Passengers and Geoffrey Dana Hicks, famed jazz and gospel pianist. She’s joined by veteran John Voigt on electric upright bass, Michael Aguiar (of the All Stars) on drums and Dave Medeiros on Keyboard. .
