Rat Ruckus and All About Buttons, from the dark heart of dark swamp in Glocester, RI strike deep into the belly of the city with support from their heavily armed Boston based comrades Treehouse Live in a wildy unpredictable unified show of force Saturday, September 12 at the AS220 mainspace. Combining hard hitting lyrics with extreme technical prowess and soul shattering instrumental passages Rat Ruckus is a seven piece backwoods-progressive rock band taking roots instruments to the highest and loudest points that they can reach. The songwriting duo of Jaqueline James and David Kennelly form All About Buttons, and present heartbreakingly honest and passionate folk-punk poetry that will have all the boots in the house trying desperately to stomp a hole in the floor. Treehouse Live forgoes vocals in exchange for meticulously crafted intrumental dance music blending jazz, electronica, and good old fashioned rock and roll in a tight, beautiful, and hard hitting package.
