Pawtuxet Village is a classic New England community with houses dating back to the American Revolution. But when two residents, Drs. Carolyn Fluehr Lobban and Richard Lobban, Emeritus Professors at the Rhode Island College Anthropology Department, begin to study neighborhood history, their trail leads to the gates of Brown University and it’s role in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
