3 For the Fire are a psychedelic power rock trio out of Providence, Rhode Island. The band was formed in 2009 by blind singer/guitarist Aaron Roberts with Tobe London on drums, Kurt Rowlinson on bass and Adam Baldasaro on guitar. 3 For the Fire went straight to work on their debut self titled album in late 2009. Their influences include Alice in Chains and Queens of the Stone Age melded with Frank Zappa and Mr. Bungle which spawned some strange yet eclectic songs. “We wanted to have an album that was theater of the mind, but was still kick ass rock”.
Bringing influence from all types of music to blend together for a (hopefully) original sound, Resident Alien is a part-rock, part-techno, part-industrial, part-edm, part-metal one-man-band for fans of half steps and sus2 chords
