The 11th annual Short Short Story Film Festival returns to Providence at AS220’s Black Box at 95 Empire in Providence on Saturday, November 25th.

The festival includes both live-action and animated films from across the globe, all of which tell a story in under six minutes. Enjoy two distinct programs of cultural excursions, each in the time of seeing a feature film in less than 90 minutes.

The first program, christened the Heartstrings, explores the challenges of forging human connections and surviving life’s transitions. It screens at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

The second, the Headtrip, presents mental excursions with unanticipated detours, often with an undertone of dark wit. It screens at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

The competitive international film event includes audience voting for both programs, and DJ Madame B will be mixing soundscapes between and after screenings, with a reception to conclude the festival.

Tickets are available at the door for $10 per screening or online for $15 including both screenings.
