Radiant Presence

A World AIDS Day Screening Taking Place Right Now

Organized locally by Headmaster.
RADIANT PRESENCE is a digital slideshow featuring images from the Visual AIDS Artist+ Registry, the largest database of works by artists with HIV/AIDS. The program will be screened internationally in museums, galleries, and universities for A Day With(out) Art on World AIDS Day, December 1. Headmaster is presenting RADIANT PRESENCE in a number of locations throughout Rhode Island:

AS220 (115 Empire Street, Providence)
Aurora (276 Westminster St, Providence)
Bryant University (Fisher Student Center, Smithfield)*
RISD Museum (Spalter New Media Gallery, Providence)
The Dean Hotel (122 Fountain Street, Providence)
Youth Pride Inc. (743 Westminster Street, Providence)

Visual AIDS assembled nine influential artists, activists and curators to present RADIANT PRESENCE. Featuring the work of 45 artists, RADIANT PRESENCE is inspired by the 25th Anniversary of Electric Blanket, an epic slide show about AIDS that was projected on the façade of Cooper Union in New York on December 1, 1990.
