Jan 25 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
AS220 Community Printshop presents Drink & Ink January 2018 @ AS220 Community Printshop | Providence | Rhode Island | United States

Let the printers at the AS220 Community Printshop guide you through several low-key and fun printing projects in a relaxed environment. Discover the processes of silkscreen, letterpress, and monotype!

Hang out, socialize, and learn from the welcoming members of the Printshop! Drinks, courtesy of our friends at Bottles Fine Wine, and food are provided with price of admission!

Keep what you print! No experience necessary!

Our first Drink & Ink of the year will feature Artist in Residence Michael Ezzell! Michael is a printmaker who graduated with a B.F.A. from the Savannah College of Art & Design, in Savannah, GA, and a member of our printshop! His works illustrate wit and whimsy while telling familiar stories that pull from fairy tales, folk lore, and mythology. The Artist in Residence Drink and Ink will showcase the artist’s works printed across various methods the printshop has to offer. This will allow the guests and prospective students a closer look at the printshop, and offer them the opportunity to print and keep finished pieces designed by a local artist.

Drink & Ink is presented by AS220 in partnership with Bottles Fine Wine, Providence RI.
