The visuals room has been busy with youth creating their own personal projects, some working on illustrations, some on t-shirt designs, others on drawing and paint prompts from class. UCAP instruction has been going well, the free comics were especially well received. Also, the students have decided they’d like to do mural design.

Students at UCAP middle school have been working with AS220 Apparel Design coordinator Nick Carter and youth intern Sin Seven on different screenprinting projects. Check out the cut paper negative space prints they made, inspired by legendary printmaker Sister Corita Kent.
