AS220 Artist in Residency for May Hannah G. Thompson will be working in collaboration with electronic sound artist Arvid Tomayko to create and perform wearable fabric sculptures, which unfold and connect to their surrounding installation of fabric sculptures. The performers will interact with the multimedia environment and try to make sense of the “other world” in which they are engulfed by unfolding and revealing found objects. As the human creatures plug into this sculptural space and each other with multiple sensing appendages, their movement and physical connections will create sound.
